Board of Education schedules workshops at Weston
Public Library (Tuesday it was on Channel 79 see non-LWV
report here (LWV of Weston does not endorse any opinions

There are three workshops scheduled, covering the below listed
topics (all at Weston Library Community Room): NOTE:
Please refer to the Weston FORUM for the details of each night's
review--long articles on each session during the weeks Dec. 30,
Jan. 6 and next week--Jan. 13. THESE ARTICLES ARE EXACTLY
WHAT WAS DISCUSSED AT MEETINGS BELOW.
#1 Tuesday, January 4,
2005 at 7pm, the overall budget is reviewed, including:
- enrollment
projections,
- staffing, employee
benefits
- technology
#2 Wednesday,January 5, 2005,
also at 7pm, the budgets for each of the schools will be
reviewed individually The order of review is listed as:
- Hurlbutt (pre-K - 2)
- Grade 3-5 Intermediate School
- Weston Middle School
- Weston High School
#3 Thursday, January 6, 2005,
at an early morning meeting (8am) the Special Education,
Athletics and some other areas will be covered.
Specifically:
- Special Education and Pupil Services
- Athletics
- Plant and Operations
- Transportation
- Other Programs
