PICTURE STORY

Any meeting is defined by the audience it draws.
We didn't count, so we asked someone who was not invested in the answer, and he said "30 or more."   In addition to LWV faces, there were those from the PTO, from ad hoc Committees, real estate, a quorum of the Board of Selectmen, a Conservation Commission member and some residents relatively new to Weston.

On Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 3:30pm to 5pm, in the Daugherty Commission Room at Town Hall, with many other activities to pull away attention, nonetheless, League was able to publicize its first meeting in a series of events that it hopes will assist everyone in Town in weighing the choices going forward for Weston.

DR. FAILLA, P&Z CHAIR., FORMER CHAIR OF CONSERVATION COMMISSION UPDATE IN THE WORKS FOR WATER STUDY?
This meeting was introduced by Convener of the Weston LWV Steering Committee, who introduced our special guest, Dr. J. Thomas Failla, Chair. of the Planning and Zoning Commission.  The relation of zoning to planning and to the Town Plan was discussed only in a general way, however at the end of the 90 minutes every question had been asked and it was obvious that this conversation would be continued!  What is the "land capability" in Weston, and without sewers or public water supply, what could be done?

WHO WAS IN THE AUDIENCE?

More like who wasn't in the audience!!!  Chairs were set in a semi-circle, half of which is not shown above What recommendations in the Town Plan have been implemented so far?
