How did Campaign 2003 end
up?
Disclaimer:
The Weston LWV does not claim that
this Internet page is anything more than a "get acquainted"
forum, providing unofficial notes on the campaign as it
progresses--leading up to the publication of our VOTERS GUIDE in
the Weston FORUM shortly before election day, November 4.
Photographs have been either supplied by the candidates or taken
from our files. In all cases, these photos have been
either on-line previously or the Weston LWV is using them with
the candidates' permission.
Who won? For 2003-2005...the
Board of Selectmen in Weston, CT is:
the same crew as 2001-2003!
Richard Miller (D.), Selectmen, Woody Bliss (R.) First Selectman
and W. Glenn Major (R.), Selectman.
So what did we do Election Day
2003? We stayed dry! Charter questions slowed pace
of voting...

LWV members chipped in volunteering
at the polls as checkers; mid-day crowd (l.) and after 8pm set
(r.) try to make a decision on Questions (click for
vote totals).
At Weston Center last weekend,
Campaign '03 - reading is big here! After sunny weekend,
Tuesday dawned cold and damp.
