AS SOMEONE ONCE SAID...TIMING IS EVERYTHING.  Who knew that LWV of Weston would have a scoop

Saturday afternoon in Weston Library after finishing their work (for the House members at 3a.m.that morning, Senate much earlier in a long Friday Session ) it was electric!

The crowd came pouring in...to hear from Representative Jonathan Steinberg, Senator Tony Hwang, Representative Adam Dunsby and Senator Toni Boucher. (not pictured above)


Senate Amendment 'B' the Republican budget - any different from the Democrat's budget?  Opening comments.
Some back and forth about which Party's budget was bigger/had more holes/was less complete/but not too angry at each other!


QUESTIONS ANY ONE?  ALWAYS TOUGH TO GET THE FIRST QUESTION BUT NOT THIS TIME!

Indeed there were questions.  Including one (that speaker not shown here) about why the Citizen's Election Program was cut.  Everyone who asked questions was concerned and for the most part, in the business of budgets and finances, it seemed.
